Claire Victory

claireClaire commenced employment with Duddy Shopov in 2007. She has a Bachelor of Law and Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Arts from Flinders University, a Graduate Certificate in Loss, Grief and Trauma Counselling from Flinders University, and a Vocational Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution from the Australian Institute of Social Relations.

During her time at Duddy Shopov, Claire has practiced in personal injury, insurance, employment and discrimination law, acting for individuals and companies, plaintiffs and defendants. Claire enjoys a varied practice, but now acts primarily for employers in employment and workers compensation matters, which involves both providing advice on procedural/policy matters and representing clients in dispute situations.

Claire is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and of the Law Society’s Mock Trial Committee. She was also a member and chair of the Law Society’s Young Lawyers Committee and was the 2014 recipient of the Gray Young Lawyer of the Year Award. She currently serves as Deputy President of the St Vincent de Paul Society (Australia) National Council and sits on the Board of Cabra Dominican College. Outside the office, Claire enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with family, visiting Adelaide‚Äôs wineries and volunteering her time within the community, including coaching high school mock trial.
