Christopher Shopov

chrisChris commenced practice in 1983 and was soon made a partner at Elston & Gilchrist. He also worked as a partner at Mouldens before establishing Duddy Shopov Lawyers with Will Duddy in 1999. During his legal career, Chris has practised in a number of fields including insurance, personal injury, industrial and workers compensation law. Chris now practices primarily in the workers compensation field, and specialises in acting for self-insured employers in complex matters in both Adelaide and regional South Australia, regularly travelling to Mount Gambier in particular to advise clients and run trials. Chris is listed in the 2016 Doyle’s Guide as a Preeminent Workers Compensation (Defendant) Lawyer.

Chris also acts for individuals injured in the course of their employment or in motor vehicles accidents, helping them to resolve their claims as quickly and effectively as possible. He is a member of the Law Society of South Australia. Away from the office, Chris loves spending time with family at the river and is renowned for cooking a mean lamb spit.
