Duddy Shopov is a small, ‘boutique’ law firm practicing from offices in the heart of the legal precinct in Victoria Square. Duddy Shopov currently comprises 5 solicitors and 5 support staff.

Since we were established in 1999, we have developed an extensive practice in workers compensation, employment, industrial, insurance, liability, safety and equal opportunity law.

We focus on our recognised core areas of expertise, and our solicitors are respected within their fields of practice. We are a highly regarded workers compensation firm, specialising in acting for self-insured employers, and our Partners have been listed in Doyle’s guide as leaders in this field.

What We Do

In addition to advising clients in relation to disputes and representing them before courts and tribunals, we are committed to assisting our clients to avoid disputes by adopting appropriate policies, procedures and risk management strategies. This includes running training and information sessions and notifying our clients of important changes and developments in key areas of law. We pride ourselves on our close relationships with clients, keeping them informed at every step and explaining the law in plain English.

Working for You

We have been able to substantially increase our client base by offering prompt and cost effective legal advice to our clients. We meet regularly with our clients to discuss current legal issues and to provide them with legal advice in relation to particular claims and the effect of decisions from the Court or Tribunal. We believe that the best way to provide customer service and indeed continuous improvement is to work in partnership with our clients and regularly review the way in which we undertake our work.

Our solicitors make the most of opportunities to expand their knowledge base and continue their legal education, regularly attending professional development seminars and events to ensure they remain abreast of all significant developments in their relevant fields.
